খোরশেদ আলম, সেনবাগ : জেলার সেনবাগ উপজেলায় গতকাল রবিবার সন্ধ্যায় বিদ্যুৎস্পৃষ্ট হয়ে মারুফ হোসেন (১৫) নামে এক এসএসসি পরীক্ষার্থীর মৃত্যু হয়েছে। ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে উপজেলার নবীপুর ইউনিয়নের বড়চারিগাঁও গ্রামের আমিন ঊল্যার বাড়িতে। তার পিতার নাম মো. মাসুদ মিয়া। মারুফ নবীপুর হাসনা হোসাইন ট্রেকনিক্যাল স্কুলের দশম শ্রেনীর ছাত্র।
নবীপুর ইউনিয়নের চেয়ারম্যান আমিন উল্যা বিএসসি জানান, রবিবার সন্ধ্যার আাগ মুহূর্তে বাড়ির একটি জাম গাছের সঙ্গে বিদ্যুৎস্পৃষ্ট হয়ে মারুফ হোসেন গুরুতর আহত হয়। স্থাানীয় লোকজন তাকে দ্রুত উদ্ধার করে কোম্পানীগঞ্জ উপজেলা স্বাস্থ্য কমপ্লেক্সে নিয়ে গেলে কর্তব্যরত ডাক্তার তাকে মৃত ঘোষনা করে।
সেনবাাগ থানার ওসি আবদুল বাতেন মৃধা জানান, বিদ্যুৎস্পৃষ্ট হয়ে মারুফ নামে এক ছাত্র মারা যাওয়ার বিষয়টি তাকে এলাকার লোকজন জানিয়েছেন। ঘটনাস্থলে পুলিশ পাঠানো হবে বলে জানান।
