ফেনীতে ভোক্তা অধিকারের অভিযান : চার মাসে ১০৫ প্রতিষ্ঠানের জরিমানা

চলতি বছরের ১৪ মে পর্যন্ত ফেনীতে ৬৩ অভিযান চালিয়েছে ভোক্তা অধিকার সংরক্ষণ অধিদপ্তরের ফেনী কার্যালয়। এসব অভিযানে বিভিন্ন অপরাধে ১০৫টি প্রতিষ্ঠানের ৬ লাখ ৯৬ হাজার ৫০০ টাকা জরিমানা করা হয়েছে বলে আজ জানিয়েছেন কার্যালয়ের সহকারি পরিচালক সোহেল চাকমা।
তিনি জানান, অভিযানগুলোতে মূল্য তালিকা না থাকা, তালিকা হালনাগাদ না করা, পণ্যের নির্ধারিত মূল্যের চেয়ে বেশি দামে বিক্রি করা, হোটেল ও বেকারিতে অপরিষ্কার পরিবেশে খাদ্য উৎপাদন ও পরিবেশন, ফার্মেসিগুলোতে মেয়াদ উত্তীর্ণ ওুষধ বিক্রিসহ ভোক্তা অধিকার সংরক্ষণ আইনের বিভিন্ন বিষয় অমান্য করায় প্রতিষ্ঠানগুলোকে জরিমানা করা হয়।
কার্যালয় সূত্র জানায়, জানুয়ারিতে জেলা জুড়ে ১৭টি অভিযান পরিচালনা করে ২৮টি প্রতিষ্ঠানকে ২ লাখ ৭ হাজার ৫০০ টাকা, ফেব্রুয়ারিতে ১৩টি অভিযান পরিচালনা করে ১৮টি প্রতিষ্ঠানকে ১ লাখ ৫ হাজার টাকা, মার্চে ১২টি অভিযান পরিচালনা করে ২০টি প্রতিষ্ঠানকে ১ লাখ ৪৫ হাজার টাকা, এপ্রিলে ১৮টি অভিযান পরিচালনা করে ৩৪টি প্রতিষ্ঠানকে ১ লাখ ৬৭ হাজার টাকা এবং চলতি মাসের ১৪ তারিখ পর্যন্ত ৩টি অভিযানে ৫টি প্রতিষ্ঠানকে ৭২ হাজার টাকা জরিমানা করা হয়েছে।
সোহেল চাকমা জানান, ভোক্তার অভিযোগের প্রেক্ষিতেও অভিযান পরিচালনা করা হয়েছে। এছাড়া তেলের বাজার দর নিয়ন্ত্রণে ডিলার এবং খুচরা বিক্রেতাদের নিয়মিত তদারকি করা হয়েছে-বাসস
