সুবর্ণ বিনোদন কর্ণার ডেস্ক : ‘লাক্স-চ্যানেল আই সুপারস্টার’ দিয়ে শোবিজ জগতে আত্মপ্রকাশ করেন আমব্রিনা সারজীন আমব্রিন। সেটা ২০০৭ সালের ঘটনা। ওই আয়োজনে সেরা দশে ছিলেন তিনি। এরপর নাটকে অভিনয় এবং উপস্থাপনা করে পরিচিতি পান। তবে বাংলাদেশ প্রিমিয়ার লিগের (বিপিএল) টিভি অনুষ্ঠান সঞ্চালনা করেই তিনি অধিক জনপ্রিয়তা লাভ করেছিলেন।
সেই আমব্রিন এখন সম্পূর্ণভাবে ইসলামের রীতি মেনে চলছেন। নিয়মিত নামাজ পড়ছেন, হিজাব পরছেন। এমনকি শোবিজ সংশ্লিষ্ট সব ধরণের কাজ থেকে নিজেকে সরিয়ে নিয়েছেন। খবরটি নিশ্চিত করেছেন আমব্রিন নিজেই।
সম্প্রতি নিজের ফেসবুক অ্যাকাউন্টে একটি ছবি শেয়ার করেন আমব্রিন। সেখানে দেখা যায়, মাথায় হিজাব পরে একমাত্র কন্যাকে কোলে নিয়ে বসে আছেন। তাদের মুখে সুখের হাসি স্পষ্ট।
ওই ছবির সঙ্গে আমব্রিন লিখেছেন, ‘আল্লাহ আমাকে ওর মতো একটা ফেরেশতা দিয়ে ধন্য করেছেন। ও আমাকে একজন ভালো মানুষ বানিয়েছে, এমনকি আমার মধ্যে সেরা রূপটা এনে দিয়েছে।’
আমব্রিনের মেয়ের নাম আমায়া। মূলত মেয়ের জন্যই তিনি শোবিজের ঝলমলে দুনিয়া ছেড়ে ইসলামের পথ বেছে নিয়েছেন।
আমব্রিনের কথা, ‘আমার মেয়ের বয়স যখন মাত্র এক দিন, তখন ও জীবন নিয়ে লড়ছিল। তখন আমি আল্লাহর কাছে প্রতিজ্ঞা করি, যেন আমার মেয়েকে সুস্থ করে আমার কাছে ফিরিয়ে দেন। বিনিময়ে আমি মিডিয়ার ক্যারিয়ার ছেড়ে দেব, নিয়মিত হিজাব পরব এবং পাঁচ ওয়াক্ত নামাজ পড়ব। এবং এমন কিছুই করব না, যা ইসলামে হারাম। আজ দেখুন, ও আমার সাথেই আছে। আলহামদুলিল্লাহ্‌। আমি সর্বোচ্চ চেষ্টা করছি আমার প্রতিজ্ঞা রাখার জন্য।’
২০১৭ সালের ৪ নভেম্বর কানাডা প্রবাসী তৌসিফ আহসান চৌধুরীকে বিয়ে করেন আমব্রিন। এরপর থেকে তারা কানাডাতেই বসবাস করছেন। ২০১৮ সালের ২৩ জুন কন্যা সন্তানের মা হন আমব্রিন। মেয়ের পুরো নাম তাহজিব আমায়া চৌধুরী।
